Wojciech Zawadzki
Born in 1966. After completing high school education at M. Kopernik I LO in Lodz, in 1985 began studies at the Faculty of Medicine at Military Academy of Medicine based in Lodz. After three years he took up parallel studies at the Faculty of Dentistry. Having graduated from the Academy with the degrees in dentistry and medicine, from 1991 to 1992 worked at the provincial Emergency Ambulance Service in Lodz. As he admits, working there was a real school of hard knocks for him, which may be illustrated by the fact that sometimes Dr. Zawadzki had to extract up to 120 teeth during a single 12-hour shift! However, it has definitely paid off. In 1992 he worked as a junior lecturer and later as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Dentistry at CSK WAM in Warsaw. In 1994 he received his 1st degree specialization in dental surgery and 4 years later, his 2nd degree specialization in periodontics. From 1994 to 1998, together with Dr. S. 2muda, under direction of Prof. M. Wierzbicka (WAM Warsaw), Dr. Zawadzki performed numerous surgeries in which he implanted human bones in patients suffering from advanced paradentitis. Since 1999 he has been successfully conducting dental implant surgeries based on Branemark materials. Since 1992 he has been working with all kinds of dental lasers. Additionally, he works for CTL Warsaw as a medical consultant and instructor. Since 1992 he has been working in private practice which he first set up in Grotniki and Warsaw and later also in Lodz, 28 Kurczaki Street, known as LASERDENT.
